Darcy Kroening began his career in 2018, managing multi-family properties and quickly establishing himself as a skilled professional in property management and leasing. Over the years, he has successfully overseen hundreds of units, including multi-family and commercial industrial properties. His expertise in coordinating renovation projects has consistently resulted in increased building values and higher net operating income for investors.

For over 20 years, John has owned an excavation and transportation company. He has worked with various types of clients from breaking ground to hauling in building structures. John’s extensive work experience has developed his strong work ethic and he strives to treat clients with the highest level of integrity. When John was presented the opportunity to join Lizotte, he was excited to join such an experienced team and knew this was the next step in his career. 

John’s passion is drag racing and can be found riding his bike, camping, and fishing with family and friends. 

Prior to launching his real estate career, Tim spent 10 years as a project manager in the oil and gas and land development industries. Since joining the real estate industry, he has gained considerable experience in both the residential and commercial sectors. Tim is currently focusing his practice on industrial sales and leasing and development real estate. He has been involved with multiple large-scale land transactions in and around the city of Calgary and is well-versed in local municipal and planning policies. Tim leverages the best training and technological support in the industry to ensure that he is able to deliver high-quality service using the best tools possible. Tim carries the core values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding client service into everything he does.

Jayden is a highly motivated young professional who is eager to develop himself in the commercial real estate industry. As an individual who strives to build strong relationships with clients, Jayden goes above and beyond to find solutions for clients’ commercial needs by focusing on their financial goals and ensuring they are well represented. With his prior experience selling oil and gas drilling tools, Jayden brings an abundance of transaction knowledge to the Lizotte team.

Previously, Jayden played four years in the Western Hockey League where he developed his strong work ethic, earning himself a scholarship to the University of Calgary where he obtained his degree. Jayden is currently working towards becoming a licensed commercial agent for the Lizotte team.

Jesse comes from a background in customer service and has now made a transition into commercial real estate. Jesse is not afraid of hard work and spends significant hours at the office researching properties, market rates, and is always looking to find his clients the best deal.

When Jesse is not in the office, he spends his time working on his family’s farm and maintaining the property.

Scott has spent 20 years in sales including a decade in multi-family and single family real estate. He has been involved in multi-family development, land acquisitions, land syndication, new home sales, and pitched entrepreneurial ideas to billion dollar corporations in the pharmaceutical landscape. With downtime during Covid-19 he wrote and published a book and took his Professional Home Inspection Certificate all while taking care of his young family. 

Scott brings his “always be learning” mindset to the growth of the Calgary office and into the industrial and multi-family asset classes.  Building on his networking skills, Scott looks to develop lasting landlord and/or tenant relationships, and promote owner investment strategies in these classes by increasing wealth and growth opportunities for individual or group real estate portfolios.

With 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Dave specializes exclusively in the leasing, disposition, and acquisition, of single and multi tenant industrial properties in the greater Calgary region. Dave has established himself as a leading industrial property expert in Calgary with both private owners and asset managers alike. His high level of success is due to his extensive market knowledge, aggressive pricing and marketing strategies, relentless work ethic, and dedication to helping clients achieve their real estate goals.

Dave approaches his real estate business from a client-centric perspective, choosing to focus his efforts on building long-term relationships with his clients rather than utilizing the traditional transaction-oriented business model. Prior to Lizotte & Associates Real Estate, Dan was an educator in Edmonton for 26 years where he had an integral role as Chair, Co-Chair, and Director for National and Provincial Education Boards and is currently a presiding member of the Alberta Attendance Board. He was a teacher and principal at multiple rural and urban schools as well as a sessional instructor for Technology Integration for Teachers at Concordia University of Alberta.

Dan moved to Calgary in 2010 and has since had an interest in commercial real estate where he has worked with an international brokerage for two years. Dan’s knowledge, extensive experience, and work ethic make him an essential part of the Lizotte team.

Kristy Theriault is an experienced and passionate Graphic Designer. She has received professional accreditation in graphic design through NAIT in 2014, and has worked professionally in the industry since.

With over 15 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate in the Edmonton and Northern Alberta area, Derek has developed strong ties to the region and industries within. Utilizing these relationships along with keen attention to detail and best practices, he provides his clients with a distinct advantage. A comprehensive understanding of market dynamics has allowed him to effectively forecast market trends, provide insight to clients and help them make informed real estate decisions.

His areas of expertise are the Industrial and Industrial Investment Sales and Leasing and Land Development Sales throughout the Edmonton and Fort McMurray areas.

Lee has established himself as a hard worker who continuously strives to improve professionally and personally. Being a former business owner, Lee quickly identifies a client’s needs and accounts for future growth, taking pride in helping clients make that happen. While maintaining a focus on industrial real estate, Lee has worked with a variety of clients in all asset classes. Additionally, investment real estate has been a long-time interest; he looks forward to every opportunity presented to work with clients in that area. Lee helps clients establish a positive cash flow so they can focus on other priorities. Lee’s professional expertise is focused in industrial leasing, investment building transactions, and land sales.

Outside of the office, Lee maintains a balance by spending time focused on family, education, and volunteering. Additionally, he always seeks to live a healthy lifestyle by kayaking, golfing, and taking up the odd obstacle course race in the summer.

Tom has established himself as a dependable representative in landlord and tenant transactions representing multiple law firms, accounting offices, engineering firms, and medical practitioners in both the disposition of properties and managing complex lease transactions. Additionally, he has managed multiple sale-leaseback transactions and both acquisitions and dispositions of income-producing properties. He has won awards and recognitions for the lease of a long-standing office vacancy in downtown Edmonton to a large multi-national organization.

Justin is excited to bring his passion to Lizotte and Associates Real Estate Inc.. Before joining the Lizotte team, Justin enjoyed a successful career of over 10 years as a top performer with the Canadian Football League. Justin earned his first Grey Cup championship as a member of the 103rd Grey Cup champions, the Edmonton Eskimos. Justin obtained all-star status in 2016. Justin aims to provide the highest degree of professionalism to all his clients through his community-minded attitude.

Justin’s excellent motivational and public speaking skills and positive attitude make him an essential part of the Lizotte team. Justin understands business thoroughly as he holds a Bachelor of Science in Retail Management. Additionally, he has received several scholarships and academic awards and attained accreditation in commercial real estate.

David has continually been one of the top-performing commercial associates in the industry and is the recent recipient of the “Associate of the Year Award” at Lizotte and Associates Real Estate Inc.. David specializes in retail leasing, investment, and hospitality consulting services. Over the last 13 years, David has been involved in almost every major nightclub and related restaurant transaction in the City of Edmonton and the surrounding area. In these transactions, David has facilitated negotiations for the purchase of existing businesses and assets, provided consulting services related to leasing negotiations and renewals, and represented both landlords and tenants on transactions. He proves to go above and beyond for all his clients, ensuring each transaction is advantageous to all parties involved and mutually beneficial.

In his spare time, David enjoys training Jordan, his German Shepard, in various scent and agility courses, with the end goal of Jordan being a certified search and rescue service dog. David is a passionate athlete, enjoys weight training, hiking, running with his dog, and supporting his local CFL football team.

Chuck is a 25-year veteran in Edmonton and area commercial real estate industry having attained his license in 1996. He has earned a reputation as one of the industry’s most active Associates by brokering in excess of 3 million square feet, spanning over 300 transactions. Chuck has been appointed by many national and regional tenants as an exclusive Agent to locate and solidify prospective locations.

Chuck’s experience includes time as a founding and managing partner of a large local brokerage, and formerly enjoyed a television spot on CTV’s business programming called “Everyone’s Business”.

He has strong knowledge of all asset classes with a specialized focus on Owner and User Investment Assets stemming from an Office leasing background.

A graduate of the NAIT finance program, Chuck also believes in being a strong voice in his community.  A past member of the Community of School Councils for Elk Island Public Schools and the Strathcona School Traffic Safety Partnership, Big Brothers and Big Sisters In school mentoring program, as well as the Chair of the Ministik Parent Council. Chuck spends any available spare time with his wife and two children.

As a Broker and President, Richard consistently performs at a high level during his ten years in commercial real estate. Before Lizotte and Associates Real Estate Inc, Richard was self-employed for fifteen years as a commercial builder and developer in both Kamloops and in Edmonton.

He has experience in Commercial and Industrial building development, project management, and asset management. In recent years, he has completed many types of transactions, including leasebacks, large facility relocation, design-build projects, and numerous land sales. Richard’s focus is on the industrial market and has also been successful in the development and leasing of medical buildings in Edmonton.

Richard’s extensive experience and hardworking mentality have ensured expert service for many national, regional, and local clients. As one of the top industrial commercial agents in Edmonton, some of Richard’s accomplishments include the lease of 89,000 square feet in Leduc for BasinTek LLC, 45,000 Sq.
